Overview
The SAP S2P (SourcetoPay) Consultant plays a critical role in streamlining and optimizing procurement processes within the organization. With 6 to 8 years of handson experience in SAP this position focuses on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement functions. The consultant will be pivotal in collaborating with crossfunctional teams to implement best practices in procurement strategy and technology adoption. As the expert in SAP S2P this role also includes refining operational processes ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP S2P modules.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align procurement processes with business goals.
- Conduct assessments of current procurement processes and recommend enhancements.
- Provide training and support to endusers on SAP functionalities.
- Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure effective integration of SAP S2P with other SAP modules.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and operational procedures.
- Create and manage reports to track procurement performance metrics.
- Participate in project management activities ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Monitor compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Act as the point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving systemrelated issues.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and technology advancements in procurement.
- Support change management initiatives related to SAP S2P implementation.
- Assist in the development of strategic procurement plans.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor s degree in Business Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP S2P consulting or related roles.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
- Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and Ariba functionalities.
- Experience with ERP systems and endtoend procurement life cycle.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2) preferred.
- Experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of improving procurement processes and systems.
