Job Description
This role is for one of the Weekdays clients
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable applications and a deep understanding of backend architecture. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Golang.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Participate in code reviews ensuring code quality and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 28 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Golang.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Golang programming language.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git).
