Job Description
Overview
The SAP Fiori Developer plays a crucial role in enhancing the user experience for SAP applications within the organization. This role is essential as it focuses on creating userfriendly interfaces that facilitate efficient interactions between users and SAP systems. The SAP Fiori framework is pivotal in modernizing our SAP landscape aligning business processes with the latest web technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Fiori principles along with proven skills in UI5 development. They will be responsible for designing developing and deploying innovative Fiori applications that are responsive highperforming and tailored to user needs. Additionally as part of a collaborative agile team the SAP Fiori Developer will engage in continuous improvement initiatives ensuring that our digital solutions evolve in line with user feedback and technological advancements. This position not only contributes to optimizing business processes but also enhances overall user satisfaction and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5.
- Create and maintain OData services to interact with SAP backend systems.
- Integrate Fiori applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP solutions.
- Collaborate with UX designers to implement userfriendly interfaces.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Support performance tuning and optimization of applications.
- Participate in requirements gathering and functional design sessions.
- Document technical specifications and user guides.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to align project goals.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications.
- Stay updated with Fiori updates and industry trends.
- Assist in training endusers on new application functionalities.
- Maintain existing custom Fiori solutions and improve them as needed.
- Contribute to project planning and estimation activities.
- Engage in troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP Fiori development.
- Strong proficiency in SAP UI5 JavaScript HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with OData services and SAP Gateway.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and related modules.
- Knowledge of web technologies and responsive design principles.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Understanding of SAP Fiori design guidelines.
- Experience in deployment and transport management.
- Certification in SAP Fiori or related disciplines is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP backend technologies like ABAP is an advantage.
- Willing to stay updated with new technologies and continuous learning.
