Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with over 8 years of experience specifically in handling Data and Business Intelligence (BI) projects. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of agile methodologies and extensive experience working with crossfunctional data and BI teams to deliver datadriven solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves guiding datafocused teams through agile processes removing obstacles and fostering a collaborative resultsoriented environment. Strong project management and communication skills are essential for liaising between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Agile Teams in Data/BI Projects: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews retrospectives) for data engineering analytics and BI teams ensuring agile practices are adhered to throughout each sprint cycle.
- Stakeholder and Requirement Management: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to understand business requirements manage project scope and align BI deliverables with business goals.
- Data Project Facilitation: Coordinate tasks related to data pipelines ETL processes data warehousing and BI dashboards ensuring the team delivers highquality actionable insights.
- Impediment Resolution: Identify and address any impediments to project progress such as data dependencies technical challenges or resource limitations to keep sprints on track.
- Agile Coaching: Guide and mentor team members on agile principles fostering a selforganizing environment and promoting continuous improvement.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Utilize agile metrics and KPIs such as burndown charts velocity and team capacity to monitor progress report on project health and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements through sprint retrospectives implementing lessons learned to improve team performance and project outcomes.
- Documentation and Standards: Maintain project documentation including sprint artifacts decision logs and data governance best practices to ensure transparency and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Analytics Business or a related field.
- Experience: 8 years of experience in project management with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master focused on Data and BI projects.
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) PMIACP or other relevant agile certifications are required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in agile project management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence) and familiarity with data management tools like SQL ETL processes and BI platforms (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Understanding of data and analytics concepts including data warehousing ETL and data visualization.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication problemsolving and facilitation skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with cloud platforms for data projects such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with data governance practices and data security best practices.
- Background in data science or analytics is an advantage.
