Overview
The position of BAMS MD for Ayurvedic OPD at our Gharuan Punjab location plays a crucial role in improving the health and wellbeing of our patients through traditional Ayurvedic practices. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients health.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on Ayurvedic principles.
- Prescribe herbal medicines and natural remedies.
- Administer therapies such as Panchakarma and Shirodhara.
- Educate patients on dietary and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in community health outreach programs.
- Stay updated with advancements in Ayurvedic practices.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior practitioners.
- Engage in continuous professional development.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide support.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
- Promote the clinic s services to potential patients.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Ayurveda (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution.
- MD in Ayurveda or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Registered medical practitioner with relevant licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Ayurvedic clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of Ayurvedic principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in patient assessment and diagnostics.
- Experience in conducting wellness workshops.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Knowledge of local health regulations and standards.
- Empathy and a patientcentered approach to care.
- Proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
