Overview
The Fresher Home Care Staff Nurse plays a crucial role in providing highquality nursing care to patients in their homes. Working in Kalachowki Mumbai this position emphasizes promoting health preventing illness and providing compassionate care tailored to individual patient needs. As a home care staff nurse you will have the unique opportunity to build strong relationships with patients and their families ensuring the best possible support in a comfortable and familiar environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes.
- Assist patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene and grooming.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Keep accurate and uptodate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for the patient.
- Assist in physical therapy exercises as directed by a physician.
- Perform wound care and other medical procedures as required.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and needs.
- Maintain professional relationships with patients and families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Adhere to healthcare policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid nursing degree from a recognized institution.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Knowledge of home care procedures and protocols.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to handle medical equipment and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and privacy laws.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Adaptability to changing patient needs and environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in a clinical setting is an advantage but freshers welcome.
- Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to patient care.
