Job Description
This role is for one of the Weekdays clients
We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with expertise in Java Spring and PostgreSQL. In this role you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing our backend infrastructure ensuring it is secure efficient and scalable to support our expanding needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain backend systems focused on scalability and performance.
- Build robust and maintainable applications using Java and the Spring framework.
- Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases for efficient data handling.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain code quality through thorough code reviews and adherence to best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
- Handson experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and serverside logic.
- Familiarity with backend security practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Background in highgrowth or techfocused organizations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
