Overview
The Gynaecologist Consultant plays a critical role in the healthcare system of Mandla Madhya Pradesh specializing in women s reproductive health. This position involves diagnosing treating and preventing diseases and conditions that affect womens reproductive health. The consultant will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients. This role is not only pivotal in managing gynecological health but also in educating and empowering women regarding reproductive health issues. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of gynecological conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures including hysterectomies and laparoscopies.
- Provide prenatal perinatal and postnatal care.
- Offer family planning and contraceptive advice.
- Manage menopauserelated issues and therapies.
- Educate patients on reproductive health and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and followup care plans.
- Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives.
- Stay current with advancements in gynecology and obstetrics.
- Conduct research and participate in clinical trials when applicable.
- Handle emergencies and complications in obstetric and gynecological care.
- Advise on nutrition and lifestyle changes for better reproductive health.
- Support and guide patients through treatment options including psychological aspects.
Required Qualifications
- MD/MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a recognized institution.
- Relevant DGO (Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics) certification.
- State medical license to practice in Madhya Pradesh.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficiency in performing gynecological surgeries.
- Strong knowledge of current gynecological practices and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teambased environment.
- Commitment to patientcentered care and ethical practice.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
