Job Description

Position: SAP EHS Consultant

Overview

The SAP EHS (Environment Health and Safety) Consultant plays a pivotal role in guiding organizations to achieve compliance with environmental and safety regulations while optimizing their internal processes. As an integral part of the team the consultant will be responsible for implementing SAP EHS solutions that streamline safety management enhance reporting capabilities and improve compliance metrics. This position involves collaborating with various departments to integrate EHS practices into their operations effectively. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in SAP EHS strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders. In todays rapidly evolving regulatory environment a skilled SAP EHS consultant is essential for companies aiming to mitigate risks reduce incidents and ensure compliance while fostering a culture of safety and sustainability. Overall this role not only supports compliance efforts but also contributes to organizational efficiency and integrity making it vital in achieving strategic EHS goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and configure SAP EHS solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Conduct workshops and requirementgathering sessions with stakeholders.
  • Analyze existing EHS processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for EHS solutions.
  • Provide training to employees on SAP EHS functionalities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure system integration.
  • Assist with risk assessments and environmental audits.
  • Support the development of EHS policies and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for EHS metrics and KPIs.
  • Assist in change management and stakeholder communication.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for EHSrelated inquiries.
  • Participate in project planning and status reporting.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP EHS systems.
  • Keep abreast of updates in EHS regulations and best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Safety or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in EHS consulting or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP EHS module functionality.
  • Experience in project management and implementation.
  • Familiarity with relevant EHS regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience conducting training sessions and workshops.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Technical writing skills for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and environments.
  • Knowledge of safety management systems and practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. NEBOSH ISO 14001) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
