Overview
The Recruiter for the Wellness Department plays a critical role in attracting selecting and onboarding individuals who embody the values and competencies necessary for promoting overall wellness within the organization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies for wellness positions.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand specific hiring needs.
- Create compelling job descriptions that attract top talent.
- Utilize various recruiting methods including social media job boards and networking.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct interviews both inperson and virtually to assess candidate fit.
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate data in applicant tracking systems.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Facilitate reference checks and background screenings.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates for future openings.
- Organize and participate in job fairs and recruiting events.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires ensuring a smooth transition.
- Collect feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve recruitment processes.
- Analyze recruitment metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends in wellness and recruiting.
- Promote a positive employer brand to attract highquality candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 13 years of recruiting experience preferably in wellness or healthcare.
- Strong understanding of wellness practices and principles.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with candidates and team members.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with social media recruiting.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Exceptional time management abilities.
- Familiarity with assessment tools and techniques for candidates.
- Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in hiring.
- Certifications in HR or recruitment methods (e.g. SHRMCP AIRS) are a plus.
