Summary
Join our team as an Associate Area Operations Specialist where youll support the operational growth and efficiency of tMart the first cloud store concept in the region offering rapid 30minute grocery deliveries at hypermarket prices. This entrylevel position is a great opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of retail operations management in a fastpaced and expanding environment across various markets including Kuwait UAE Qatar Jordan Bahrain Egypt Oman and Iraq.
Whats On Your Plate
- Operational Assistance: Support senior operations staff by helping manage daily store operations including inventory packing processes and asset management. Learn to uphold operational standards assist in expense control and help with general maintenance tasks.
- Inventory Supervision: Assist in monitoring inventory management processes to ensure they are executed properly aiming for minimal shrinkage and highquality stock management.
- Performance Tracking: Help track order fulfillment and KPIs ensuring staff levels meet operational demands. Gain experience in analyzing performance data to understand operational strengths and areas for improvement.
- Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work with different teams such as IT logistics and marketing to support store operations and ensure a collaborative work environment.
- ProblemSolving: Learn to identify and escalate operational issues working closely with stakeholders to find solutions.
Qualifications :
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office and eagerness to learn storespecific tools and systems.
- Expense Management: Support initiatives to identify potential savings while maintaining operational quality and efficiency.
- Learning and Development: Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in store operations.
- Compliance and Support: Assist in ensuring that all store activities comply with legal standards and company SOPs. Support regular store audits and contribute to maintaining high standards across all operations.
- Engagement in Improvements: Contribute to discussions on improving financial and operational performance and execute departmental action plans under guidance.
- Operational Support: Provide support in logistics for store transfers and the distribution of consumables learning the intricacies of effective supply chain management.
