Overview
The Gynaecologist Consultant plays a vital role in providing comprehensive healthcare to women specializing in gynecological and obstetric care. In Agra this position is essential to improve womens health services and ensure safe and effective patient management. The individual will be responsible for diagnosing treating and counseling patients on various aspects of reproductive health. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat various reproductive health issues.
- Manage prenatal perinatal and postnatal care for expectant mothers.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary including cesarean sections and hysterectomies.
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to promote health.
- Educate patients on family planning contraception and sexual health.
- Lead and supervise patient care teams ensuring effective delivery of care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Conduct regular followups and monitor patients progress.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records for all patients.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Stay informed of advancements in gynecological practices and procedures.
- Participate in health fairs and community outreach programs to promote womens health.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with health issues.
- Adhere to hospital policies and healthcare regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD or DNB).
- Valid medical license to practice in India.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Proven experience in performing gynecological surgeries.
- Strong understanding of reproductive health issues.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions.
- Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare colleagues.
- Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
- Compassionate and patientcentered approach.
