Key Responsibilities
- Provide nail care services including manicures pedicures and nail enhancements.
- Create unique and innovative nail art designs using various techniques such as painting airbrushing and stamping.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences for nail services.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in nail art and nail care.
- Educate clients on proper nail care and maintenance to promote nail health.
- Manage appointment scheduling to ensure optimal service flow and client satisfaction.
- Promote and sell nail care products to clients generating additional sales.
- Perform manicures and pedicures that include nail shaping cuticle care and massage.
- Work collaboratively with other beauty professionals to create an allinclusive service experience.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and care.
- Keep abreast of new products and tools for nail art and nail care.
- Assist in training junior staff in nail art techniques as needed.
- Manage inventory of nail products and tools ensuring all necessary items are stocked.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in nail technology preferred.
- Experience as a nail artist or in a similar role ideally 2 years.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of nail art designs and styles.
- Indepth knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices in nail care.
- Ability to perform basic accounting and handle cash transactions.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and trends.
- Previous experience in a customer servicebased role highly desirable.
- Basic knowledge of nail anatomy and skincare.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in using various nail art tools and products.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
