Overview
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) role in Kanpur Uttar Pradesh is crucial to provide medical care and support to patients in a healthcare facility. The RMO plays a key role in assisting inpatient and outpatient healthcare delivery providing medical consultation and contributing to the overall patient care experience. They are responsible for ensuring the delivery of highquality medical services and maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting medical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Providing medical care and treatment to inpatients and outpatients.
- Assisting in surgical procedures and operations.
- Monitoring and managing patient progress and medical records.
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing immediate care.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.

Required qualifications
- MBBS degree and valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Minimum 12 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions.
- Sound knowledge of medical procedures treatment protocols and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Capability to handle medical emergencies and make quick effective decisions.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Dedication to upholding ethical medical practices and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and be oncall when required.
- Understanding of medical recordkeeping and documentation standards.

- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical technology.
