Job Description
Join Oaks Wellington Hotel as our new fulltime Assistant Restaurant Manager. This is your opportunity to supervise the day to day operation of a successful Restaurant and Food & Beverage department.
As the Assistant Restaurant Manager you will:
- Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant bistro and conferences.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the companys food and beverage features to promote to clients.
- Liaise with the kitchen during service periods to ensure quality service and presentation.
- Supervise train and assist Food & Beverage Attendants
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
Location: 89 Courtenay Place Te Aro Wellington 6011 New Zealand
Annual salary range: $29.66$30
Approved sponsor: Oaks Hotels & Resorts Suites
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience gained in a similar role
- Previous experience working within formal dining and a bar environment
- A current RSA certificate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
- A high level of selfmotivation and confidence
- Availability to work a variety of shifts including breakfast lunch and dinner shifts on a rotating roster.
