Overview
The MD DNB DMrd Radiologist Consultant role in Mandi Himachal Pradesh is a critical position within the healthcare sector which emphasizes the use of advanced diagnostic imaging techniques for patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures such as CT scans MRI and ultrasounds.
- Interpret images accurately to provide detailed diagnostic reports.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols for patients undergoing imaging.
- Provide consultations and professional advice on imaging techniques and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient imaging studies and interpretations.
- Advise on radiological best practices and modernization of equipment.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior radiologists and medical staff.
- Participate in departmental meetings to discuss cases and policies.
- Engage in ongoing medical education and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct research and contribute to radiology knowledge sharing.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance imaging services.
- Maintain communication with patients to explain procedures and findings.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities within the radiology department.

Required Qualifications
- MD in Radiology or DNB in Radiology (DMRD).
- State medical registration in Himachal Pradesh.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Proven experience in advanced imaging techniques such as MRI and CT.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills of radiological imaging results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with health information systems and radiology software.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with a patientcentered approach.
- Familiarity with medical ethics and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Research experience in radiology is preferred.
- Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are a plus.
- Knowledge of the latest radiology advancements and technologies.
