Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and detailoriented Computer Operator to assist with daytoday computer operations. The Computer Operator will be responsible for handling data entry tasks managing and maintaining records and ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems within the organization.
Responsibilities
Data Entry and Processing:
Enter data accurately into the organization s software systems.
Update maintain and manage databases to ensure data integrity.
System Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor computer systems and report any issues to the IT department.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates and backups.
Document Management:
Prepare organize and manage digital files and documents.
Assist in printing scanning and archiving documents as required.
Software and Hardware Support:
Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
Coordinate with the IT team for more advanced technical support when necessary.
Report Generation:
Generate regular and adhoc reports as requested by management.
Compile and organize data for analysis and presentation.
Data Confidentiality:
Ensure that all data is handled confidentially and securely.
Adhere to the company s data protection and privacy policies.
Other Administrative Duties:
Assist in other administrative tasks as needed by the team.
Collaborate with other departments to provide computerrelated support.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word etc.) and familiarity with database software.
Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a similar computer operator or data entry role.
Familiarity with office equipment like printers and scanners.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
