We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Product Design Engineer Intern to join our innovative team. In this role you will collaborate closely with experienced UX designers and the product lead to create and develop usercentered products that are both functional and engaging. You ll be directly involved in the entire product design process from the initial ideation stage where you ll brainstorm and sketch out concepts to prototyping and user testing ensuring that every design choice is grounded in realworld user needs and feedback. This internship will provide you with handson experience in transforming ideas into tangible usable products while helping you refine your skills in design thinking problemsolving and user experience. By the end of your internship you will have gained valuable exposure to key design processes and crossfunctional collaboration preparing you for a future in the fastevolving field of product design and engineering.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in product design and development of mechanical components and assemblis for robotic systems ensuring robust and scalable designs.
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar).
- Conduct performance testing and validation of prototypes collecting data to support design iterations and optimizations.
- Document designs prototypes and test results ensuring that all stages of development is wellrecorded and traceable.
- Research emerging technologies and design trends within robotics to propose innovative solutions and improvements.
Basic qualification :Bachelors degree in Industrial Design
Product Design Mechanical Engineering Bachelor of design
or a related field.
Added advantage: Basic understanding of CAE software such as ANSYS Basic concepts of design
