Overview
The Pediatrician MD DCH Consultant position in Deoghar Jharkhand is a crucial role within the healthcare system focusing on the health and wellbeing of children from infancy through adolescence. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine physical examinations and developmental assessments for children of various ages.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Administer vaccinations in accordance with established immunization schedules.
- Provide guidance on nutrition physical activity and overall wellness.
- Educate parents and guardians on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records for each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses social workers and specialists.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric medicine and treatment options.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote child health awareness.
- Respond to emergencies and provide urgent care as needed.
- Perform minor procedures and interventions as required.
- Consult with other healthcare providers regarding patient referrals and specialized care.
- Supervise and train medical residents or interns when applicable.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards in pediatric care.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Diploma in Child Health (DCH) or equivalent qualification.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid medical license to practice in Jharkhand.
- At least 35 years of pediatric practice experience.
- Strong understanding of child development and growth milestones.
- Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills specific to pediatric health.
- Ability to develop rapport with children and their families.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Experience in public health initiatives pertaining to child health is an advantage.
- Knowledge of common childhood diseases and preventive measures.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced healthcare environment with flexibility.
