Overview
The MCH Onco Surgeon Consultant plays a critical role in the healthcare system at our Ajmer Rajasthan facility. This esteemed position requires a highly skilled professional who specializes in the surgical treatment of cancer and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The consultant will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans that enhance patient outcomes and quality of life. The position is vital as it combines advanced surgical techniques with a deep understanding of oncology thereby ensuring that patients receive the most effective interventions possible. By fostering a supportive and collaborative environment the MCH Onco Surgeon Consultant will not only perform complex surgeries but also educate and guide patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for patients with cancer.
- Design individualized treatment plans based on the latest research and clinical guidelines.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and minimal invasiveness.
- Collaborate effectively with oncologists radiologists and other specialists.
- Monitor patient recovery and manage postoperative care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and surgical procedures.
- Participate in tumor board meetings and contribute to case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Engage in clinical research to advance cancer treatment methodologies.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide support and guidance to junior surgical staff.
- Facilitate community outreach programs focused on cancer awareness.
- Implement evidencebased practices in surgical oncology.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Required Qualifications
- MD/MS in General Surgery with MCH in Surgical Oncology.
- Active medical license to practice in Rajasthan.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in surgical oncology.
- Proficient in advanced surgical techniques and technologies.
- Strong understanding of cancer biology and treatment protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate patient care approach.
- Experience in research and clinical trials is desirable.
- Familiarity with health regulations and standards.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
