About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Python Developer with experience in Infotainment Automotive or Telematics systems to join our team. This role focuses on Modem Testing and involves working with cellular protocols such as GSM UMTS LTE or 5G. You will also have the opportunity to work with network simulators such as Anritsu R&S or Keysight to ensure robust modem performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Pythonbased test scripts for modem testing in automotive/infotainment or telematics systems.
- Perform testing on modems for cellular networks including GSM UMTS LTE and 5G protocols.
- Utilize network simulators (Anritsu R&S Keysight) for testing and validation of cellular modem functionalities.
- Analyze test results troubleshoot issues and work with crossfunctional teams to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with system engineers to improve test coverage and automation processes.
- Ensure the highest quality standards for testing including regression performance and load testing of modem modules.
- Document test plans procedures and results for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cellular protocols and modem technology.
Requirements:
- 2 to 4 years of handson experience in Python programming preferably in an automotive infotainment or telematics environment.
- Strong understanding of cellular network protocols: GSM UMTS LTE 5G.
- Experience with modem testing and using network simulators such as Anritsu R&S or Keysight.
- Proficiency in developing and executing automated test scripts using Python.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of network testing performance optimization and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a crossfunctional team.
