The Head Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial health of the organization. As the leader of the accounting department this position is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions including financial reporting budgeting taxation and strategic financial planning. The Head Accountant is tasked with ensuring compliance with laws and regulations managing financial audits and providing insights to executive management. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting department.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and processes.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

- Prepare materials for external auditors and manage audit processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience.
- 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong leadership and teammanagement skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information simply.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
