Job Description
An excellent job opportunity for Forklift Service Supervisors / Maintenance Heads with minimum 10 years of work experience to join our client as Service Head in their Mumbai office.

Brief The Service Head is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of forklifts ensuring maximum uptime compliance with safety standards and efficient operations to support companys material handling solutions. The role ensures that all machines and personnel within the department operate optimally to meet servicelevel agreements and operational demands.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead supervise and provide technical guidance to the team of forklift technicians.
2. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
3. Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
4. Troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and electrical issues in forklifts.
5. Coordinate repairs and maintenance tasks with external vendors and departments.
6. Manage inventory budget and procurement for parts and maintenance services.
7. Foster a culture of safety provide continuous training and implement best practices.
8. Create and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for forklift operations and maintenance.
9. Keep abreast of technological advancements in forklift equipment and recommend improvements.
10. Prepare and submit timely reports on service activities costs and uptime metrics.
11. Prepare monthly budgets cost reports performance reports of technicians.
12. Manage 1015 forklift technicians 23 administrative support staff (not limited to this).
Requirements
- Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Certification as a forklift technician or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 10 years in forklift maintenance or related field
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role ideally in a similar services/maintenance department
- Experience in managing large teams and operations
