Job Description

As a Coop Analog Design Engineer at Renesas a successful candidate will help develop Renesas flagship Optical Interconnects products. Your primary focus will be on the design and characterization of broadband linear Drivers and TIAs. This will involve Cadence design and optimization extensive lab work and some Python scripting/automation.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Working towards a M.A.Sc. / PhD student in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with BiCMOS and CMOS technology
  • Experience/working knowledge in Cadence/ADS and related EDA tools
  • Experience with EM modeling
  • Coursework in circuit analysis and Optical/RF communications theory.
  • Good understanding of frequency domain signals analysis including BODE plots FFTs spectrum analysis.
  • Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and function generators (PREFERRED)
  • Familiarity with Python
  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Selfstarter not afraid to ask questions and seek guidance
  • Curious with a strong desire to grow
  • Good attention to detail.
