The Quality Assurance Consultant is involved in the provision of high quality factually accurate and timely medicolegal reports.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Review of medicolegal reports in line with quality framework and relevant regulations and legislation
- Building sustainable relationships connections and trust with customers and experts through open and interactive communication
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritisation of workflow
- Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medicolegal report writing
- Resolve emerging problems & handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits follow ups to ensure resolution customer record interactions and escalation
Qualifications :
- Experience or qualifications in allied health legal or insurance industries ideally with experience in interpreting medicolegal reports highly regarded
- Experience in utilising the AMA Guides and WorkCover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments is desirable.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills
- Good computer skills particularly with Microsoft Office
