Job Description
How youll be making an impact in peoples lives:
As a DVA Consultant you will play a vital role in the provision of rehabilitation services for our DVA portfolio. You will help to build better lives for Australia Veterans through a whole of person rehabilitation approach.
As a valued team member your responsibilities will include:
- Case management of DVA files within medical psychosocial and vocational rehabilitation
- Managing DVA files within the DVA legislative framework
- Liaising with clients their families and medical providers to assist veterans transition to civilian life.
Qualifications :
What youll bring to the role:
- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy Social Work Exercise Physiology Psychology Rehabilitation Counsellor and Physiotherapy
- Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers license compulsory)
- Sound knowledge of DVA files and legislation
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
- A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
