Detailed JD
The .NET Developer plays a crucial role in designing developing and maintaining software applications using the .NET framework. As part of a dynamic team the developer will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability performance and scalability of applications that meet business goals and user needs. The .NET Developer must have a strong understanding of both the technical aspects of software development and the business context in which the software operates. Furthermore they are expected to integrate new technologies stay updated on industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain web applications using the .NET framework.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
- Create highquality code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications for optimization and user experience.
- Implement and maintain software solutions following Agile methodologies.
- Utilize version control systems for managing codebase and team collaboration.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them in projects.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and deployment readiness.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
- Contribute to technical documentation and user manuals.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications.
- Optimize existing applications to enhance performance and scalability.
- Support ongoing maintenance and upgrades of software applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web API frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL Server and relational databases.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Understanding of RESTful services and API design principles.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. Azure) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Passion for learning new technologies and advancing skills.
