Job Summary:
The Export Sales Executive will be responsible for generating sales in international markets building and maintaining customer relationships and ensuring a smooth export process. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying new markets understanding customer needs and coordinating with internal teams to fulfil export orders. The ideal candidate is dynamic selfmotivated and has excellent communication skills with a keen interest in developing a strong sales pipeline and expanding our global reach.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Lead Generation
Conduct research to identify potential markets and customers in targeted regions.
Generate and qualify leads through various methods such as cold calling networking and digital outreach.
Analyse market trends and gather competitive intelligence to enhance sales strategy.
2. Sales & Business Development
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to foster trust and longterm partnerships.
Prepare and present proposals product information and quotations to potential customers. Negotiate terms pricing and contracts with clients to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials for targeted regions.
3. Order Processing & Export Documentation
Coordinate with internal departments including logistics and production to ensure timely fulfilment of export orders.
Prepare and review export documentation such as invoices packing lists certificates of origin and other required documents.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
4. Customer Service & AfterSales Support
Act as the primary point of contact for export customers addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Follow up on sales orders and provide customers with timely updates on order status and shipping details.
Gather feedback from customers to enhance service quality and identify areas for improvement.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Track and report on sales performance customer feedback and market trends.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Monitor and analyse competitors activities to develop counterstrategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Business Marketing International Trade or a related field.
Minimum of 23 years of experience in export sales or international business development. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Familiarity with export documentation logistics and trade compliance.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Fluency in English is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
