We deliver solutions for every part of the service lifecycle from product management contracts warranty and billing through mobile field service customer engagement and selfservice and remote assistance. In order to join the Service Management team as a Software Engineering Leader You need to be good at listening and communicating and share knowledge and experience. A Software Engineering Leader is expected to consistently develop highquality software solutions by:
- Lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers to design develop and deliver highquality software solutions.
- Mentor and coach team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Recruit and onboard new coworkers perform appraisals and set salaries.
- Collaborate with product managers program managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
- Provide knowledge and insight in DevOps and Agile practices.
- Lead efforts to optimize and scale our software development infrastructure for improved performance and reliability.
Qualifications :
- A degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology.
- 4 years of engineering team management experience
- 8 years of software engineering experience
- Previous working experience with Enterprise grade software is a definite advantage.
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes and testing
- Expertise in managing and developing globally distributed teams
- Skills in prioritizing and taking decisions.
- Experience colloborating with product or program management teams
- A good understanding of one or more of our target industries and domain product / technology offerings as well as the business application processes for our target customers.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
