Job Title: Dot Net Core Developer / Lead
Overview
The Dot Net Core Developer / Lead is a pivotal role within our development team responsible for designing developing and maintaining applications built on the .NET Core framework. This individual will lead the development of highquality software solutions ensuring they align with the business objectives and technical standards of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. They will leverage their expertise not only in coding but also in architecture leading by example and mentoring less experienced developers. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members stakeholders and product owners to deliver scalable and efficient software solutions. Their contributions will be essential in driving the company s digital transformation initiatives enhancing user experience and optimizing operational workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining scalable web applications using ASP.NET Core.
- Collaborating with product managers designers and other developers to define product requirements.
- Creating RESTful APIs that are performant and secure.
- Lead the design and architecture of software solutions.
- Mentoring junior developers in best practices and coding standards.
- Performing code reviews and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Managing version control solutions using tools like Git.
- Writing unit and integration tests to validate code functionality.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to sprint planning.
- Implementing DevOps practices to improve deployment pipelines.
- Interfacing with databases using Entity Framework and optimizing queries.
- Staying updated with the latest .NET technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance overall system integration.
- Providing technical documentation for developed solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 5 years of experience in software development with .NET technologies.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and MVC architectures.
- Handson experience with entity frameworks and database management.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful services.
- Experience with Docker and microservices architecture preferred.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g. Azure AWS) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in leading teams or mentoring developers is a plus.
- Knowledge of security best practices in application development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD practices.
- A passion for learning and keeping uptodate with new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
