Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Monitor thesecurity tools andsystems that defend ServiceNowsproduction and corporateenvironment
- Determine relationships betweenseemingly unrelated events throughdeductivereasoning
- Come up withways to do thingsfaster better and more effectively
- You will work with teamsto maintain uptodate baselines forthe secure configuration anrations of all inplace deviceswhether they be under direct control(i.e. security tools) or not (i.e.workstations servers networkdevices etc.).
- You will participate asan escalation contact in theOnCall rotation to ensure thatSecurity Operations can respond topriority incidents
- You may be called upon to assistwith the deployment integration andinitial configuration of new securitysolutions or enhancements to existingsecurity solutions; including networkand systems to improve overallplatform security.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- 6 years related experienceorequivalent combination of education and experience
- Automation knowledge (Python bashscripting)and experience hardening Linux Windows or Mac systems
- Background working with datalogging applications (e.g.Splunk)
- Knowledge of vulnerability scanningtools (Qualys Nessus)
- A defensive security mindset
- Ability to explain complex issues toexecutives andcustomers
- GSEC GCIH CEH GCIA or CISSPcertifications are aplus
