The EMEA / LATAM Senior Tax Analyst is a core member of the ServiceNow Tax Team with primary responsibility of supporting the Tax Director EMEA/LATAM in all external and internal tax reporting requirements for our legal entities in EMEA/LATAM region. You must have the ability to work in a fastpaced environment and to work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization. This position will be based in Dublin
What you get to do in this role:
- Support the annual tax compliance process for ServiceNow entities in the EMEA/LATAM region.
- Prepare work papers coordinate with external tax advisors to file Corporate Income Tax Returns R&D Tax Credit claims and arrange for tax payments.
- Collaborate cross functionally with external statutory auditors and Financial Reporting Team to prepare or review tax disclosures in the statutory Financial Statements.
- Prepare income tax provision for EMEA/LATAM entities for US GAAP and local GAAP purposes including current and deferred tax tax payable reconciliations tax accounts rollforward tax deprecation calculations and returntoprovision trueup.
- Support transfer pricing matters such as intercompany transactions analysis and local transfer pricing documentation.
- Provide support for tax audits and tax controversy matters in the regions.
- Assist in M&A and tax planning/ restructuring projects including modelling related tax impacts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline and automate taxrelated procedures.
- Build collaborative working relationships with Legal Accounting FP&A Procurement and Corporate Development Teams.
- Effective communication of tax considerations to business stakeholders. Research and evaluate the tax impacts of current and proposed tax legislation.
- Document tax analysis and draft tax memos for internal SOX purposes.
- UAT testing for ServiceNow inhouse finance software products.
- Other ad hoc tax projects as needed
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you have:
- At least 4 years of corporate income tax experience in Big 4 firm and/or industry.
- Industry experience with large USbased hightech multinational organizations is a plus.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant/Chartered Tax Advisor
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of tax software such as OneSource tax provision is preferred.
- Experienced in research analysis and documentation of complex tax issues.
- Experienced in SAP Blackline Microsoft Power BI and Alteryx is a plus.
- Strong project management skills demonstrated by consistently meeting deadlines and effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Selfmotivated with strong collaboration and communication skills who also takes direction well.
