Job Title: Laser Operator
Overview:
The Laser Operator plays a pivotal role in the manufacturing process utilizing advanced laser cutting and engraving equipment to create precision components according to specified designs. This position is essential for ensuring highquality production standards maintaining operational efficiency and adhering to safety protocols in a fastpaced environment. As part of a dedicated team the Laser Operator will work collaboratively to transform raw materials into finished products directly impacting the companys overall productivity and customer satisfaction. Laser Operators must possess technical skills and a strong understanding of machine operation along with an eye for detail to achieve the desired specifications. This role not only contributes to the production line but also emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement and innovation making it vital to the organizations success and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate laser cutting and engraving machines following established protocols.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machinery for optimal performance.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure product quality.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machines to prevent issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational problems as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
- Assist in the training of new operators on machinery and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams for project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform quality control inspections on finished products.

- Adhere to production schedules and deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a laser operator or in similar manufacturing roles.
- Knowledge of laser cutting and engraving techniques.
- Familiarity with CAD software and design principles.
- Understanding of materials and their properties related to laser processing.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Basic troubleshooting skills to address machine issues.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials as necessary.
