Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented Automation Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing processes handson experience in automation frameworks and a passion for ensuring highquality software delivery.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive test suites using a variety of testing tools including Cucumber for behaviordriven development and Detox for testing React Native applications to validate software functionality and user experience.
Analyze test results identify defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Create and maintain automation frameworks and tools to streamline testing processes.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand application requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
Perform API testing UI testing and integration testing using automation tools.
Regularly update and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test scripts.
Continuously enhance testing methodologies and frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
3 5 years of handson experience in automation testing.
Proficient in JavaScript with a strong understanding of its ecosystems and frameworks particularly for writing test automation scripts.
Experience using testing frameworks such as Selenium Appium Cucumber and Detox to ensure the robustness and reliability of software solutions.
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
Knowledge of version control systems like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
Excellent problemsolving skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
