Job Description

Overview

The Sales Officer plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and maintaining customer relationships within the organization. This position is tailored for individuals who possess a strong sales orientation and are adept at understanding customer needs. The Sales Officer works closely with clients presenting the company s products and services while ensuring that customer satisfaction is prioritized. This role is vital in shaping the company s market presence and competitiveness. A successful Sales Officer must continuously seek new sales opportunities and foster relationships both new and existing to build a loyal customer base. This person will represent our brand with professionalism and integrity ultimately contributing to the organizations financial success. The position requires collaborative openness in a teamworkfocused environment where sharing market intelligence and strategies is encouraged making it essential for the Sales Officer to not only execute sales but also to be involved in formulating sales tactics and longterm strategies for business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and sales leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with campaigns.
  • Regularly update the CRM system with customer information and sales activities.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess performance.

  • Provide training and support to junior sales staff as necessary.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
  • Deliver regular sales reports to management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in sales or a related role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required by job demands.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Certification in sales training programs is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments.
  • Positive attitude and resilience in overcoming challenges.
