Overview
The Barbender plays a critical role in the construction and manufacturing industries by fabricating and assembling metal components to create durable structures and products. Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Cut bend and shape metal materials using various tools and machines.
- Assemble and weld components following safety protocols and quality standards.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members in the fabrication process.
- Maintain tools and equipment in optimal working condition.

- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and tools.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Completion of a welding or metalworking apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Barbender or similar role in metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal properties.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with various metalworking tools and equipment.
- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
