Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
• Monitor and maintain system uptime ensuring high availability of services.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve the software delivery process.
• Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure as code.
• Analyze and optimize server performance and resource utilization.
• Implement container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes Docker) for scalable application deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
• Automate manual processes to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks.
• Develop and manage monitoring solutions to track application health and performance.
• Troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments.
• Ensure system security by applying necessary patches and updates.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all processes.
• Participate in oncall rotation and incident response activities.
• Provide guidance and training to development teams on best practices.
• Continuously investigate and implement new DevOps tools and technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or Ruby.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet Chef).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
• Understanding of networking principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).
• Experience with version control systems particularly Git.
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
