Job Description
A brief summary of the role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior UI (User Interface) Designer to join our design team. As a Junior UI Designer you will have the opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to the creation of visually appealing and userfriendly digital interfaces. You will work closely with our senior designers and crossfunctional teams to translate concepts into engaging and functional designs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to kickstart their career in UI design and gain handson experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Design Support: Assist senior designers in creating UI designs for web and mobile applications and presentations ensuring alignment with usercentred design principles and brand guidelines.
2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Collaborate with the UX team to translate wireframes and user flows into visual representations.
3. Visual Design Execution: Work on creating pixelperfect mockups and prototypes that accurately convey design intent while considering usability accessibility and responsiveness.
4. Design Iteration: Collaborate with the team to iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results ensuring continuous improvement of the user experience.
5. Asset Creation: Assist in the creation and optimisation of UI assets including icons graphics and other visual elements to support the development teams implementation.
6. Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest UI design trends best practices and emerging technologies and share findings with the team. We are not looking for a Dribble designer and someone who understands the constraints of realworld design and development and that beautiful intuitive interfaces cannot be created in isolation or without context.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with designers developers and other stakeholders providing clear communication and actively contributing to discussions and brainstorming sessions.
8. Learning and Growth: Continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow in UI design staying curious and exploring new design techniques and tools.
Portfolio: Showcase a portfolio or work samples that demonstrate your design skills creative thinking and attention to detail. Projects completed during education or personal projects are acceptable.
Technical Skills: Design Layouts Illustration Prototyping PowerPoint Design
Mandatory Skills: Figma Adobe Illustrator Photoshop.
Education Qualification: A degree or diploma in Graphic Design Interaction Design HCI
(HumanComputer Interaction) or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
