Job Description
AI Product Owner
The AI Product Owner plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders driving the vision and execution of AIdriven products. This position is crucial for shaping the strategy and direction of AI initiatives within the organization. The Product Owner will be responsible for ensuring that products meet customer needs while aligning with the companys objectives. A successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI technologies be skilled in agile methodologies and have the ability to prioritize effectively within a fastpaced environment. The role requires not only a strategic mindset but also operational excellence as the Product Owner will lead crossfunctional teams in the product lifecycle from ideation to launch. By harnessing customer feedback and market analysis the AI Product Owner will guide datainformed decisionmaking to optimize product features and functionality ultimately enhancing the user experience and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for AI products.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize features.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
- Conduct market research and user analysis to understand customer needs.
- Work closely with engineering and data science teams to maximize product performance.
- Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable product improvements.
- Monitor product performance and iterate based on metrics and analytics.
- Manage product backlog ensuring transparency and prioritization of tasks.
- Foster strong relationships with customers to gather insights and validate concepts.
- Assist in gotomarket strategies and coordinate product launches.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data privacy standards.
- Act as a point of contact for crossfunctional teams regarding product changes.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on product usage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Administration or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in product management or similar roles.
- Proven experience working with AI technologies and datadriven products.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development cycles.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with user experience design principles and best practices.
- Experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
- Certifications in Product Management or Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum Master) are a plus.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and shift priorities as needed.
- Knowledge of software development processes and lifecycle.
- Understanding of market trends in AI applications and products.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
