You keep the global overview over the design of a large construction/civil projects;
You make use of your technical knowledge on the different aspects of construction design (architectural mechanical ) in order to design the project at the clients demands;
You coordinate the studies to be carried out (stability geotechnical engineering special techniques BIM) and decide which studies can be carried out internally or externally;
You conduct design meetings with the clients to hear about their specific demands for the project. In addition you conduct internal design meetings and get all parties to work together to produce a winning design
You are the SPOC for the bringing together of all info from different disciplines in the tender (Estimating BED Methods & Planning ..)
Youre also responsible for the coordination of ad hoc questions of sites in execution (temporary structures for example).
You follow up closely on the complete project when started especially on the constructability of the project
You have knowledge of the evolution of different technologies (drones BIM document management ..)
Qualifications :
You have a masters degree in architecture or construction
You have a minimum of 5 to 10 years relevant experience with the design of construction projects
You have sound technical and organizational insight.
You are an outstanding communicator and have the ability to convince others of your ideas.
You have a resultoriented and problemsolving attitude.
You perform well under pressure and like to work to deadlines.
You can easily evaluate different ideas and make decisions quickly.
You are fluent in Dutch and you have a good level of English.
