Job Description
Job Title: TURNER
We required this position for our group company VILAS transcore Limited Ganapatpura(Karjan) 20 KMS from Vadodara Vilas Transcore specializes in the manufacturing and supply of components for power distribution and transmission sector
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating lathes and other machinery to create precision parts and components from various materials. In this role you will ensure that components meet strict specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or a related field
Minimum of 23 years of experience as a Turner or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of lathe operation and machining processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Excellent problemsolving and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
Skills:
Technical proficiency in lathe operation and machining processes
Blueprint reading and interpretation
Quality control and inspection
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Responsibilities:
Operate lathes and other machinery to shape materials according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand production requirements
Perform quality control checks to ensure finished products meet quality standards
Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety
Collaborate with engineers and designers to adjust designs and resolve production issues
Maintain accurate records of production processes materials used and any defects encountered
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
