Job Description
Job Title: FITTER
We required this position for our group company VILAS transcore Limited Ganapatpura(Karjan) 20 KMS from Vadodara Vilas Transcore specializes in the manufacturing and supply of components for power distribution and transmission sector
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling fitting and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in fitting or a related field
Minimum of 23 years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of fitting and machining processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Excellent problemsolving and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance requirements
Skills:
Technical proficiency in fitting and machining processes
Blueprint reading and interpretation
Quality control and inspection
Routine maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Responsibilities:
Assemble and fit machinery and equipment according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
Perform quality control checks to ensure machinery is working optimally
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning or broken equipment
Collaborate with production team to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
Maintain accurate records of repairs maintenance and replacements
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times
