Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive L2 Support Engineer or L3 Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Databricks (ADB) ETL monitoring and troubleshooting. You will be responsible for providing advanced support ensuring the seamless operation of data pipelines and resolving technical issues to maintain optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- L2/L3 Support and Issue Resolution:
- Monitor analyze and resolve incidents related to Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
- Perform root cause analysis and provide quick resolutions to ensure system uptime.
- ETL Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Continuously monitor ETL pipelines for data flow and performance issues.
- Identify and fix data integration and transformation problems promptly.
- Azure Platform Expertise:
- Manage and support Azurebased services and resources.
- Collaborate with L1 and L3 teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed incident logs RCA reports and knowledge base documentation.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on support activities and metrics.
- Collaboration and Process Improvement:
- Work with crossfunctional teams including development and DevOps to improve system reliability and performance.
- Recommend enhancements to existing ETL pipelines and support processes.
Key Skills and Requirements
- Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks (ADB).
- Proven expertise in ETL monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of data integration tools SQL and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps Data Lakes and relational databases.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience:
- 4 years in an L2 support role preferably in a cloudbased data engineering environment.
