Sybase DBA System Administrator Job Description
Installation Sybase replication Migration Performance tunning Trouble shooting

Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners
1)Unix Shell scripting
2) L1 & L2( ITIL Process knowledge)
3) Good Communication

Database administrator
Good work experience in installation and upgrade
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Sybase DBA or in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of Sybase database architecture and management.
- Proficiency in SQL and performance tuning of SQL queries.
- Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
- Strong understanding of database security protocols and best practices.
- Handson experience with monitoring tools such as Sybase Central.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database problems efficiently.
- Experience with system upgrades and migrations.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for automation tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in configuring and managing Sybase Replication Server.
- Knowledge of cloud database solutions is a plus.
- Certification in Sybase or related database technologies is preferred.
