The Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Rust. This role involves designing and implementing highly reliable and scalable backend systems that can handle our growing transaction volumes without compromising on speed and security.
Responsibilities:
- System Architecture: Design and develop robust services for our payment processing platform using Rust.
- Code Excellence: Write clean maintainable and efficient code; conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding best practices.
- Scalability and Reliability: Build systems that maintain high performance and availability as we scale.
- Security Focus: Implement security best practices and defenses in an industry where security is paramount.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with other team members including frontend engineers and product managers to define feature specifications and deliver highquality products.
- Innovation and Research: Stay on top of current trends in fintech and payment technologies; evaluate and propose new tools and technologies to improve our systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of backend development experience with at least 1 year using Rust.
- Expertise in System Design: Proven ability to design and implement scalable and performanceoriented services with Rust.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a track record of delivering complex projects.
- Knowledge of Cryptography: Understanding of cryptographic techniques and security protocols is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team Spirit: Experience working in startups or dynamic highgrowth environments is preferred.
