JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work within a fastpaced team environment to develop and design water resource projects for clients.
- Proficiency in water resource design and hydraulic modelling as well as the ability to learn and develop technical skills for unique and advanced design requirements on projects.
- Develop and review plans and computations to ensure quality compliance and accuracy of the design work and construction plans.
- Provide efficient design to ensure profitability and client schedules are being met.
- Develop timesaving design resources to be utilized by other engineers within the department.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 812 years of experience in water resource design
- PE or ability to obtain within 4 months
- Familiar with drinking water modelling water distribution systems storm water collection and plant facility designing
- Proficient in preliminary engineering reports
- Good knowledge in funding sources and those requirements
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
