Overview
The industrial engineer will analyze existing manufacturing workflows develop new processes and collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to implement sustainable practices that align with the company s objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of EV chargers.
- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production goals.
- Conduct time studies and process modeling to enhance workflow.
- Utilize statistical methods for quality control and process monitoring.
- Identify and implement costreduction strategies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Lead crossfunctional teams in continuous improvement projects.
- Facilitate training programs for staff on new processes and tools.
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize component selection and quality.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Monitor KPI performance and report on manufacturing efficiency metrics.
- Identify and mitigate production risks proactively.
- Support the scaling of production lines to meet increasing demand.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in electronics or automotive sectors.
- Familiarity with EV charging technology and market trends.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills..
- Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
