Job Description
Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Gurugram
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts and finance and possess strong analytical skills. This role will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function ensuring accurate and timely invoicing collections and reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and manage collections process
- Prepare aging reports and provide analysis on accounts receivable performance
- Work closely with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and issues
- Assist with monthend close processes related to accounts receivable
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally ERP Prime)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
