Overview
The IICS Developer plays a vital role in an organization that leverages the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) platform for data integration and orchestration. This position is essential for optimizing data flows ensuring data quality and implementing solutions that connect cloud and onpremises applications. The ideal candidate will work efficiently in a collaborative environment and be responsible for designing developing and maintaining data integrations that support various business units. As data is increasingly recognized as one of the most essential assets for a company the expertise and skill set of the IICS Developer are crucial in enabling seamless data access and utilization. With an extensive understanding of ETL processes cloud software and data governance the IICS Developer directly contributes to the strategic initiatives of the organization driving datadriven decisionmaking and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop efficient data integration solutions using IICS.
- Implement ETL processes to extract transform and load data from multiple sources.
- Create and maintain mappings and workflows to support business requirements.
- Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to determine integration requirements.
- Perform data profiling and quality assessments to ensure data integrity.
- Monitor and optimize data integration processes for performance improvements.
- Resolve integration issues and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
- Utilize APIs for automated data connections between systems.
- Generate technical documentation for developed solutions and processes.
- Conduct unit testing and validate integration processes for accuracy.
- Participate in project planning and status meetings to ensure alignment.
- Train internal users on data integration tools and best practices.
- Stay abreast of new features and updates in the IICS platform.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for data governance.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to support new projects and initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 2 years of experience working with IICS or similar data integration tools.
- Experience in SQL programming and database management.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts and best practices.
- Proficient in cloudbased solutions and data services.
- Knowledge of API development and integration methodologies.
- Experience with data profiling and validation techniques.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Prior experience in technical documentation and user training.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Certification in IICS or cloud technologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks is desirable.
