Job Description
Overview
The SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) Consultant plays a pivotal role in enabling seamless communication between cloud and onpremises applications within an organization. This position is critical for ensuring data consistency and process efficiency across various systems. As an integral part of the IT team the CPI Consultant designs develops and implements integration solutions that facilitate business operations and enhance overall performance. The role requires a profound understanding of SAP technologies especially SAP CPI integrations APIs and related cloud technologies. The consultant collaborates with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements optimize integration processes and resolve any issues that arise during implementation. Proper execution of these responsibilities directly impacts the overall effectiveness of the organization s digital architecture leading to improved decisionmaking and operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design implement and maintain integration solutions using SAP CPI.
- Develop and configure integration flows based on business requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes postdeployment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
- Ensure data integrity quality and process efficiency across systems.
- Integrate SAP and nonSAP applications using APIs and prepackaged content.
- Document integration processes mappings and configurations.
- Conduct testing to ensure effective performance of integrations.
- Provide training and support to endusers on integration processes.
- Stay updated with new SAP CPI features and technologies.
- Work with developers to enhance existing integration solutions.
- Evaluate and optimize existing integrations for performance improvements.
- Participate in project planning and status update meetings.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to data interchange and connectivity.
- Implement best practices for integration project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP CPI integration projects.
- Proven experience with API management and integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
- Familiarity with data mapping transformations and JSON/XML formats.
- Experience in troubleshooting integration issues and providing solutions.
- Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Industry certification in SAP Solutions or CPI preferred.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform technologies advantageous.
- Knowledge of middleware technologies and integration patterns.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
